RATIONAL appoints Ravinder Saund as Finance Director
RATIONAL UK & Ireland has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of
Ravinder Saund as Finance Director.
Ravinder joins the business with more than 25 years of strategic finance leadership experience across transport, logistics and consumer sectors. He brings extensive expertise at Finance Director level, having led major transformation programmes, post-acquisition integrations and ERP/SAP implementations, as well as building and developing high-performing finance teams across complex, multi-site operations.
In his new role, reporting to Brendon Land, Managing Director, RATIONAL UK & Ireland, Ravinder will be responsible for leading all financial strategy, planning and performance across the business. He will play a key role in supporting Rational’s continued commercial growth, driving operational excellence and advancing long-term investment priorities in one of the company’s most important global markets.
His appointment reflects Rational’s continued investment in experienced leadership, ensuring the business is well positioned to support customers, partners and stakeholders in a rapidly evolving foodservice landscape.

Ravinder is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and holds a
BSc (Hons) degree in Accounting.
As part of the Rational senior leadership team, he will work closely with colleagues across the UK and Ireland organisation to ensure financial strategy supports commercial objectives, strengthens operational performance and enables the business to deliver on its growth plans.
