Firex Venice - A Memorable Consultant Visit to Venice
Our journey began with a short flight from Heathrow to Venice, where we were warmly welcomed and escorted to our accommodation, the modern and newly opened Hampton by Hilton Venice Isola Nuova. After a brief refresh and a drink, we set out to experience Venice by night.
A scenic water taxi journey through the softly lit canals offered a great introduction to the city. Stepping ashore, we wandered through Venice’s narrow, winding streets under the guidance of Firex MD, Francesco Pinto, before arriving at the charming Ostaria Antico Dolo. Despite its tiny size, the restaurant delivered an exceptional dining experience, serving beautifully prepared seafood and excellent wines—an authentic taste of Venetian cuisine.
A Visit to Firex Headquarters
The following morning, we travelled to the Firex headquarters and factory for an insightful introduction to the company, which proudly celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2025. The visit provided a deeper understanding of Firex’s heritage, innovation, and commitment to high-quality professional kitchen solutions. We were introduced to several key product lines, including Cucimix, Figaro, and C&C, followed by a live cooking demonstration by the Firex chefs. The chefs cooked up a fabulous lunch demonstrating the equipment, and left us wishing we could have a prima piatto of pasta followed by braised pork cheeks and a blueberry panna cotta every day!
After lunch, we toured the factor y floor to see the manufacturing process firsthand, before being taken to the Middleby Innovation Kitchens, which—although not yet fully open—was already highly impressive and clearly positioned to become a significant hub for culinary development. We finished the day with dinner at a local hotel.
Happy Memories
On the final morning, we departed for the airport and returned home, bringing with us not only valuable insights into Firex and its technology, but also lasting memories of Venetian hospitality and cuisine provided by Francesco, Martina and Eva from Italy and Mark, Craig and Oliver from the UK.
Thank you!
