Welbilt Expands UK Sales Team to Keep Up With Demand
Guildford, UK – Global catering equipment supplier, Welbilt, has announced several new appointments within the UK sales team, effective immediately. Following significant growth across the commercial kitchen supplier’s extensive range of products over the last twelve months, four new positions have been created.
Thomas Landless, Key Account Manager – Retail and Forecourt, joins from Coca-Cola HBC, bringing extensive experience within the convenience and out of home channels. Jake Hewison, National Account Executive, Hotel Accounts, has several years of experience as a chef combined with a strong background in sales across the foodservice industry. Both Thomas and Jake report to Alistair Farquhar, National Key Account Director. Joining Bill Perry, Head of Regional Sales, and taking on the role of Regional Sales Manager – Midlands is Elliott Stewart who joins the team with 5 years within the industry – specifically on the servicing and maintenance side with MCFT.
The Welbilt culinary team, led by James Benger, is also expanding with the addition of Mark Owen as Development Chef UK, providing culinary support to the key account and regional teams, and bringing experience from his background in the culinary field, most recently at Daregal. Chris John has also joined the team as Brand and Development Chef and he will represent the Welbilt brands with a raft of culinary expertise gained as Nisbets Executive Chef, prior to that Chef Manager at Compass Group.

Further to the sales and culinary team appointments, Welbilt has also announced the promotion of Danny Vickery to UK Service Manager, reporting to Perry Breen who was recently appointed to the role of Technical Service Director, EMEA. Both Perry and Danny have worked at Welbilt for over 12 years in various regional technical roles.
