Rational Brings Education Catering Experts Together to Discuss New School Food Guidelines
With new School Food Guidelines set to come into force next year, Rational is kicking off the new academic year by bringing together experts from across the education catering sector for a practical event designed to help school caterers prepare for the changes.
Taking place on Tuesday 8 September at Parts Town UK in Cannock, the event will offer attendees the opportunity to hear from industry leaders, discuss the impact of policy changes and gain practical ideas they can take back to their kitchens
The day will begin with an Impact of School Food Policy Changes Round Table, bringing together leading voices from across the sector. Representatives from Green Gourmet, The School Food People and Chefs in Schools will share their perspectives alongside award-winning chef and SCOTY winner Erin Ward, equipment specifiers, nutrition experts and other industry professionals.
The discussion will explore the challenges and opportunities presented by the upcoming guidelines, offering insight into how school caterers can adapt menus, processes and operations to meet changing requirements.
