I’mACC - I’m A Considerate Customer
Consumer campaign I’maCC launches this week to support the reopening of bars restaurants and other businesses where customers eat and drink in and around the premises. The campaign also focuses on leisure and retail.
Most consumers out there have an equal split of excitement and trepidation about venturing out again. They are also wanting to support pubs and restaurants as they feel that the onus has been firmly put on owners and managers to ensure safety. But it’s how customers behave that will have the greatest impact.
This is where “I’m A Considerate Customer” (I’mACC) comes in. If most of us can adhere to the rules, then we all can contribute to reducing the chances of an increase to the spread of the virus.
A combination of public health messaging and business support can only help with the re-commissioning of our great locals and eateries.
To support this all businesses are encouraged to spread the word out to their communities and in turn asking them to share as well.
It also demonstrates the businesses seriousness and commitment to public safety.
It is important for businesses to share this campaign as something that may be of interest to customers as opposed to it being something, they are demanding from them. The important message is that the customer owns this campaign and wants other customers to follow it as much as possible.
A simple code of conduct including listening to staff, observing site rules and PPE are all aspects of the campaign that Considerate Customers want and need.
Businesses can freely distribute online and use the QR code for any print and electronic mediums as they see fit.
A campaign spokesperson commented “We are all in this together and the more consideration shown the safer we will all be. We want to DO OUR BIT and encourage as many people as possible to share in these values for the benefit of all.”
