Influencer event at RATIONAL: World market leader brings together culinary creativity from around the world
In early November, international content creators gathered at Rational, the global market and technology leader in thermal food preparation, for Ambassador Day for the second time, where they engaged in creative exchange and developed new recipe ideas.
The highlight of the three-day event was the opportunity to cook and experiment together. Participants from Europe, South America and Asia, including the award-winning gastronomic visionary Rehan Uddin from Great Britain and the renowned chef and TV personality Heaven Delhaye from Brazil presented recipes from their home countries and reinterpreted some of them using the intelligent iCombi Pro combi oven and the multifunctional iVario Pro cooking system.
The variety of dishes on offer ranged from a Spanish potato omelette and tapioca cubes to a modern Bangladeshi halibut pan with aloo bhorta and masoor dal velouté. All recipes will soon be available to cook via the ConnectedCooking app and web version (www.connectedcooking.com).
“We didn’t just cook; we brought together ideas, cultures and passion,” said Rodrigo Oliveira, Rational ambassador and icon of modern Brazilian cuisine. “Everyday life in a restaurant is often hectic, leaving little time for exchange. Here, we were able to be creative together, learn from each other and experiment with great cooking systems like the iCombi Pro and iVario Pro.”
