Jestic & MKN enhance UK partnership to launch MKN UK distribution
MKN and Jestic Foodservice Solutions are announcing the February launch of MKN UK Distribution. The new venture brings closer together the existing relationship between premium German commercial equipment manufacturer, MKN, and Foodservice brand experts, Jestic Foodservice Solutions to expand the MKN brand into a wider range of dealers and key accounts nationwide.
MKN UK Distribution will be dedicated to enhancing the on-going cooperation between the two businesses with a view to expanding and enhancing the MKN offer to dealers, consultants and specifiers nationwide. The two businesses already cooperate closely in the UK market – a key growth target for MKN – and MKN UK Distribution is a natural evolution of the current partnership.
Building on Jestic’s knowledge, experience and expertise across many key out of home channels, including quick service and casual dining, MKN UK Distribution will offer customers improved delivery timings through a significant investment in UK stock, minimised import complexities and enhanced service support.
MKN retains its existing UK team to work closely with existing customers, who can continue to choose direct service and support via existing channels, from MKN should they wish to do so.
As part of the launch, MKN UK Distribution will open the MKN Training Centre within Jestic’s Development Kitchen at its Paddock Wood head office in Kent. This state-of-the-art innovation and service centre will showcase the full MKN portfolio, whilst offering high quality training, education and demonstration opportunities. For the first time ever, customers will be able to see the MKN range in one convenient location, as well as having access to a wider range of expert guidance and advice than ever before.
