Welbilt’s new FitKitchen® Concept rolled out a casual dining
GUILDFORD, UK – Welbilt launched its new FitKitchen®® concept at Casual Dining Show at London’s ExCel Centre. Starting the roll out with a kitchen demonstration area, live cooking and a new interactive digital brochure showcasing the first three sectors to launch. Cafes, casual dining and pubs lead the way for the new model which sees the UK team take the extensive Welbilt portfolio to market in a brand new way. Offering significant benefits to dealers and end users, FitKitchen® will assist operators to achieve their goals of business improvement as well as driving new business into the Welbilt stable.
Jonathan Butler, UK & Ireland Sales Director explains further,
“The FitKitchen® approach is sector specific as we recognise that different sectors of the industry require bespoke solutions to their catering needs. The new model is also wrapped up with extensive culinary support and menu development via the new FitKitchen® masterclass initiative, energy consumption analysis, total kitchen connectivity and Welbilt’s new TotalCare afterservice program. FitKitchen® is the foundation of the Welbilt UK sales strategy for years to come, allowing the team to build on capabilities and successes, it will evolve as the market changes and be updated with new innovative technology as and when Welbilt launches new products and systems. FitKitchen® enables the team to build relationships with dealers and end users based on a portfolio of leading edge equipment rather than just one brand or one piece of equipment. It enables the different models to be tailored to each sector and it allows through-the-line marketing support dedicated to each sector.
This model can only be delivered by a company such as Welbilt that has a range of equipment and market leading brands such as Merrychef, Convotherm, Delfield, Olis, WMaxx, Crystal Tips etc; it makes the business stronger and more competitive in the industry.”
As well as interactive digital brochures for each sector that will highlight the range of equipment relevant to that business, Welbilt is launching FitKitchen® Masterclass – this concept will be based on an example menu, typical of the sector and it will highlight the benefits and overall speed and efficiency of utilising the FitKitchen® model to deliver that menu. FitKitchen® Masterclass videos are being created with an easy to follow interview style presentation that will show how simple it is to move around a kitchen and produce a full menu quickly and to a consistently excellent standard of delivery.
