BaSix from Mechline makes hand-wash hygiene easier in fight against Coronavirus
The BaSix range of hand wash stations from Mechline Developments is playing an important role in the fight against Coronavirus – helping commercial kitchens, food manufacturers and washroom areas to achieve optimal hand hygiene whilst reducing water consumption.
Featuring a leg activated soft touch button that immediately starts to dispense water from the tap with a light touch, the sink ensures a non-contact hand wash to amplify hygiene control.
As Kristian Roberts, Marketing Manager at Mechline explains: “Despite the massive impact of Coronavirus on the foodservice and hospitality sector, many businesses have diversified by offering deliveries, so maintaining the highest possible hygiene standards has never been more important. BaSix hand wash stations are WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) approved and incorporate an intelligent soft-touch, hands-free front panel, which makes it easy for staff to keep their hands clean and to protect against infection and cross-contamination.
The BaSix range is also very easy to install thanks to the mounting bracket with integral spirit level that comes supplied. With this and pre-fitted hardware, installation is almost as effortless as the use itself. In addition the stylish, curved design has no sharp corners, no exposed bolts and no protruding hazards for staff to bump into.”
Manufactured using a unique combination of high grade polished 304 Austenitic stainless steel for the bowl and deck, and a high grade, high strength injection moulded ABS-Polycarbonate for the skirt, BaSix models are extremely robust, simple to clean and available in a variety of different sizes and configurations to help ensure good hygiene practise.
